Taiyaki is a sweet and warm pastry (pancake) from Japan. It is called "sea bream pastry" because it is baked in a fish pan on a griddle. Traditionally, Taiyaki are filled with sweet beans, as in this product. They can be found everywhere as street food in both Korea and Japan.
They taste best when heated slightly. It is best to put the taiyaki in the microwave or on the toaster for a few minutes!
