Vietnamese Summer Roll

ingredients for 4 persons

500g rice paper 
(Content as desired)
400g prawns
1 head of lettuce
1 bunch of coriander
1 1/2 red peppers
1 1/2 yellow peppers
1 1/2 green peppers
1/2 cucumber
1 carrot 
1 bowl of warm water



Step 1: prepare all content

Cut the peppers, cucumber and carrot into thin strips and set aside. Wash the lettuce, coriander and rocket.

Cook the prawns in hot water until they turn color. When done, remove both the caudal fin and the shell.

Step 2: prepare summer rolls

Dip the rice paper completely into the warm water and leave it on the plate for a few seconds it nice and soft and foldable becomes. In the meantime, line up the desired content in the middle. First from bottom to top, then fold the sides in and finally the top side down.

 

Tip: For dipping, sweet and sour sauce.
